| | though I admit, I'm one of those people

| this... They get you addicted to a

| | who'll be happy to read the back of a

| flavor, and you can't get it anywhere

| | cereal box if there's nothing else around

| else. How's that for a marketing ploy?I

| | to fasten my eyes onto.The staff -- at

| stumbled onto a Scoop Shop while I was

| | least at the Ben & Jerry's we frequented
|
| vacationing in Cape Cod. For better or

| | -- was great. They were friendly,
|
| for worse, the shop was about a two
| |
| | efficient, and even went so far as to
|
| minute drive from the hotel where my
| |
| | assure me that the sundae's calories
|
| husband and I were staying, so every
| |
| | would all be negated if I went ahead and
|
| night after the beach, we'd be more than
| |
| | ordered that Diet Coke. Now that's
|
| ready for Ben & Jerry's.As anyone who's
| |
| | service.And what else can I say? The
|
| ever tried their packaged pints can tell
| |
| | waffle cones are made fresh daily. The
|
| you, Ben & Jerry's has wonderful ice
| |
| | toppings are superb and varied -- you can
|
| cream. Preservatives beware. This is the
| |
| | even get a cookie sundae. The hot fudge
|
| real stuff, as signs around the store
| |
| | is smooth and hot, which is more than I
|
| proudly proclaim. The proof is, of
| |
| | can say for many an ice cream stand. And
|
| course, in the taste.The quality of the
| |
| | to top it off, they even had a no sugar
|
| ice cream is exceptional. It is perfectly
| |
| | added flavor each night, which was
|
| textured -- creamy, and smooth, and
| |
| | perfect for my husband, who can't have
|
| creamy. Oh, and did I mention that it's
| |
| | refined sugars. You can even buy Ben &
|
| very, very creamy? Their vanilla is
| |
| | Jerry's tee-shirts and mugs, though I
|
| probably the best tasting vanilla I've
| |
| | personally, would rather shell out my
|
| encountered in my extensive ice cream
| |
| | money for ice cream.If that's not enough,
|
| travels...and wait until you see the size
| |
| | well then you might like to know what a
|
| of the chunks in their Vanilla Chocolate
| |
| | community-friendly bunch that Ben &
|
| Chunk.What's nice about Ben & Jerry's is

| | Jerry's are. The company is big on giving
|
| the variety of their flavors. Although
| |
| | back to the communities that make them
|
| I'm pretty much a vanilla and/or

| | money. Check out some of the pamphlets
|
| chocolate kind of gal, even I couldn't
| |
| | available at the scoop shop, or their web
|
| resist reading all the descriptions of
| |
| | site. You can even subscribe to an

| their flavors. They're amazingly
| |
| | electronic Ben & Jerry's newsletter.There

| inventive, and worth a second glance, if
| |
| | are only two negatives that I found. One
|
| not a taste. Even the names are one
| |
| | is that some flavors are only available
|
| hundred percent original. Chubby Hubby.

| Phish Food. Chunky Monkey. Don't forget

| | prepackaged in pints. Alas, such is the

| | my grocer's freezer). The other negative

| that there's something at Ben & Jerry's

| | is the price. Take out a second mortgage
|
| for everyone. If you can't find a flavor

| | before you order that hot fudge sundae,
|
| there that you like, then the quest is

| | because these prices are steep. For one
|
| hopeless.For the health conscious, Ben &
| |
| | waffle cone, and one small dish, my
|
| Jerry's also offers low fat yogurts, some
| |
| | husband and I shelled out over six
|
| in many of the same flavors as the ice
| |
| | dollars.I do have to give them credit for
|
| cream, and sorbets in luscious tropical
| |
| | one thing though. As steep as the prices
|
| fruit flavors. Why not pick a sorbet
| |
| | may be, I can assure you -- you'll enjoy
|
| flavor and have it made into a smoothie?
